Review
This is official description
Flowchart is a map or graphical schematic representation of a process. Flowchart is a simple mapping tool that shows the sequence of actions within a process.
Flowchart is widely used in business, education and economic presentations to help the audience visualize the content better, or to find flaws in a process. Flowcharts are particularly useful for displaying how a process currently functions or could ideally function. Flowcharts can help you see whether the steps of a process are logical, uncover problems or miscommunications, define the boundaries of a process, and develop a common base of knowledge about a process. Flowchart includes basic flowchart, cross functional flowchart, data flow diagram, business process flowchart, idef flowchart, workflow and sdl diagram.
The following review written by one of the Software Informer contributors applies to version 5.1
EDraw Flowchart is an editing tool that supports the creation and editing of flowcharts and network diagrams. It is specifically designed to support all types of basic and professional flowcharts, including organizational and business charts, work and programming flowcharts, together with Hertzsprung-Russell and network design diagrams. However, it also supports business process diagrams in the form of BPMN and IDEF0 stencils.
The package supports the ability to rapidly create full flowcharts through the availability of a library containing pre-drawn example templates and a complete list of stencils in which to construct flowchart objects. There are also layout tools available that support the ability for the user to align objects either vertically or horizontally, thus making it easy even for the novice to create professional-looking flowchart diagrams. Overall, the package allows users to create flowcharts with little or no drawing skills required, using a simple drag-and-drop interface from a set of stencil shapes.
The package is ideal for anyone who needs to create flowcharts rapidly. Multi-page flowcharts can be readily accommodated. Once drawn, the chart can be printed on its own, or included within a document or presentation.
If you require a tool that is simple to use and yet can create professional looking flowcharts, then this is the package to choose. The added bonus is the ability to support other design diagrams, as listed above. |
- Allows rapid creation of charts with no drawing skills required.
- Plenty of examples available to start you off.
- Free upgrades for ever once purchased.
- Free technology support.
- Other diagram types also supported in the same package license.
|
- The package costs a small amount of money.
